Karl Fischer is a strategic information technology and business operations leader adept at guiding small and mid-size biotech and pharmaceutical teams through pivotal business, financial, and scientific milestones, including Series C, IPO, IND, NDA, and commercialization. Karl’s expertise spans system and process improvements across multiple organizational functions, including CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, Finance, QA, and Commercial operations.
Karl skillfully aligns IT and operational strategies with business goals, leading to successful commercialization efforts for small biopharma companies. His expertise in system validation, governance, and compliance, combined with his hands-on approach to infrastructure and process improvements, make him a valuable asset to any organization aiming for clinical and commercial success.
His professional journey includes senior leadership roles in notable organizations such as Neuronetics Inc., SwanBio Therapeutics Inc., Aclaris Therapeutics Inc., and TradeCraft Clinical Research. Karl holds a B.S. in Commerce and Engineering Sciences from Drexel University, with a focus on Operations Management and Marketing. He is a member of the Egnyte Life Sciences Customer Advisory Board and the Layer 8 Security Customer Advisory Board.
